When it comes to travel in Asia, there's nowhere quite like Japan. It's an absolute must visit for any world traveller.

Visitors think seeing Toyko and Kyoto are the only must do's in Japan. They couldn't be more wrong. The country-side is magnificent and visiting the small towns where the traditional Japanese culture prevails is what truly makes a visit to the country complete.

A few nights stay at traditional ryokans with their hot springs is an immersive experience you should not miss. I like to  include at least two in every itinerary.
